The Milwaukee women's basketball team has announced the date for its 25th Annual Golf Classic, scheduled for Friday, August 8, at Western Lakes Golf Club in Pewaukee, Wisconsin. The event aims to support the women's basketball program through proceeds from various activities.

Participants will have the opportunity to meet current Panther players and coaches and will receive an exclusive Panther item. They can also engage in a silent auction and raffle. This year introduces additional benefits for every golfer, including two beverage tickets and entry into all on-course hole games.

Registration begins at 7:00 a.m., with the golf tournament starting at 8:00 a.m. A reception with a meal is planned for around 2:00 p.m., followed by the conclusion of the silent auction at approximately 2:30 p.m. The cost for individual registration is $200, while a foursome can register for $750. Alumni of the women's basketball program have discounted rates of $175 per individual or $700 per foursome.

Sponsorship opportunities are available to individuals, families, and organizations. Major sponsors will receive entry fees for four golfers and recognition on course signage. Contributions to Milwaukee Athletics and this event are tax-deductible within legal limits.

Interested participants are encouraged to reserve their spots online as they are expected to fill quickly. For more information or inquiries, contact Zach Beaschler via email at beaschle@uwm.edu or phone at 414-373-9022.
