Five athletes from the Milwaukee men's track and field team have been named to the Valeo Horizon League All-Academic Team, as announced on Thursday. This marks the highest number of honorees for the program since 2021.
Divine Aniamaka, a sophomore majoring in biomedical engineering with a 3.96 GPA, makes his first appearance on the team. Aniamaka recently won the Horizon League Championship in the triple jump, tying a program record, and will compete at the NCAA West Regional Preliminaries.
Cullen Boyle, a junior distance runner majoring in architecture with a 3.85 GPA, joins this season's squad after receiving an honorable mention during the indoor season.
Jeremiah Johnson, a graduate student pursuing information science and technology with a 3.74 GPA, also made the list. He concluded his final season with a third-place finish in the hammer throw at the Horizon League Championships.
Jack Misky is recognized for his second consecutive outdoor season selection. The senior kinesiology student has maintained a 3.78 GPA and achieved top-five finishes in discus and javelin at the league championships.
Liam Richards completes Milwaukee's representation on the All-Academic Team. The sophomore mechanical engineering student holds a 3.47 GPA and won the decathlon at the league championships with one of the best scores in school history. He also contributed points in javelin, pole vault, and 110m hurdles events.
