Natalie Block has progressed to the quarterfinals in both the 100m and 400m hurdles at the NCAA West Regional Preliminary Rounds, which took place in College Station, Texas.
In the 100m hurdles, Block achieved a time of 13.31 seconds, securing her position as the 20th best in the first round and advancing her to the next stage. The quarterfinals for this event are scheduled for Saturday at 6:15 p.m.
Later in the evening, Block delivered her season's best performance in the 400m hurdles with a time of 57.46 seconds, placing her comfortably in 13th position for advancement to the quarterfinals. This race will also take place on Saturday at 7:25 p.m.
To qualify for Nationals, which will be held from June 11-14 in Eugene, Oregon, Block must finish among the top 12 competitors in each event during these quarterfinal rounds.
Additionally, Divine Aniamaka is set to compete for the Panthers in the triple jump on Friday at 2:30 p.m.
