On July 11, 2025, Rep. Dittrich addressed common misconceptions about the role of legislators. She stated, "People often mistakenly think that legislators are only working when they're in Madison. At least half of our work is in the district we represent. I appreciate working across all levels of government and had a wonderful meeting today with this local school board member."
