Rep. Barbara Dittrich, who represents Wisconsin's 99th Assembly District, posted a series of updates on her social media account in July 2025 addressing local community topics and constituent engagement.

On July 20, Dittrich marked a national celebration with a message to her followers: "Happy National Ice Cream Day! Support our wonderful Wisconsin farmers by enjoying your favorite flavor of this delicious frozen treat today. #Wisconsin #dairy #NationalIceCreamDay"

The following day, she referenced an outreach effort conducted earlier in the year, writing on July 21: "Remember the Spring Survey I sent out to constituents in April? (The link was also shared numerous times online.) Well, the good people of the 99th Assembly District responded! I am going to share the results over the next few days as I think it gives you insight into my"

Later that same day, Dittrich began sharing initial findings from her constituent survey. She stated: "First up with the 2025 Spring Survey results, most respondents from the 99th Assembly District answered that they support local law enforcement cooperating with immigration authorities apprehending violent criminals who are in the US illegally."

Community surveys such as those conducted by Rep. Dittrich are common tools for elected officials to gather feedback from their constituents about policy preferences and community priorities. National Ice Cream Day is observed annually in July and highlights both consumer enjoyment and agricultural contributions, particularly relevant in Wisconsin due to its significant dairy industry.
