Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) will host the Ready, Set, Enroll Fair on August 21 and 22, 2025. The event will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Wick Field, located next to MPS Central Services at 4929 W. Vliet St., Milwaukee.
The fair aims to help families enroll their children for the upcoming school year, which begins Tuesday, September 2. In addition to enrollment assistance, attendees can participate in games and activities.
Registration for the event is recommended and can be completed online at mpsmke.com/wickfair25. Families planning to apply on site are advised to bring necessary information for enrollment.
Kindergarten options include limited programs for three-year-olds at select schools; children must turn three by September 1 to qualify. Four-year-old kindergarten is available at most district schools for children who turn four by September 1. Five-year-old kindergarten is also offered widely across the district for those turning five by September 1.
