Rep. Barbara Dittrich, a Republican representing Wisconsin's 99th House district, shared updates on social media about recent meetings with Irish officials and local events in August 2025.

On August 15, Dittrich posted about her engagement with international and local leaders during a cultural festival: "I was honored to meet with Consul General of Ireland, Brian Cahalane, last night. He also introduced me to a number of local leaders who are here for Irish Fest, including the mayor of Galway. These are important opportunities to connect our state with Ireland for business and https://t.co/DPljO9BliM".

The following day, Dittrich emphasized the importance of an unspecified topic in a brief message: "I can't stress this enough! https://t.co/VE0OgVZIbu" (August 16).

Later on August 16, she acknowledged National Bratwurst Day by highlighting a local business: "Far be it from me to tell you what to have for dinner, but it IS National Bratwurst Day. Shout out to @FoxBrosPig, who makes some of the most unique and tasty in the state! https://t.co/EJ0513oGh8".

Dittrich began serving as representative for Wisconsin's 99th House district after being elected in 2025. She succeeded Cindi Duchow in this role.
