Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) is organizing an enrollment fair aimed at helping high school students find alternative pathways to graduation. The event will take place on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the MPS Central Services Auditorium located at 5225 W. Vliet St., Milwaukee.
The district offers three alternative high schools—James E. Groppi High School, Project Stay, and Transition High School—as well as four partner high schools: Assata High School, Grandview High School, NOVA High School, and Shalom High School. These schools are designed to provide personalized resources and flexible learning options for students who may need additional support to complete their education.
"Do you know a high school student who needs help to graduate? Support is available!" states the announcement from Milwaukee Public Schools.
The enrollment fair will allow families and students to learn about these alternative programs, select a suitable school, enroll on-site, and receive guidance on staying on track for graduation.
"Join us for a NEW meet and greet event! Families and students can learn about alternative programs, pick a school and enroll, and get on track to graduate," the statement continues.
Those unable to attend the fair are encouraged to contact the MPS Department of Student Services at (414) 475-8159 for more information about enrollment options.
Contact details for each participating school are provided by MPS for those seeking further information or wishing to reach out directly.
