On Friday, September 19, 2025, the State of Wisconsin will conduct its annual student count. The results of this count help determine the level of funding schools will receive for the year. School officials are encouraging all students to attend on that day to ensure accurate enrollment numbers.

Schools are organizing Spirit Week activities and events from September 15 through September 19. Students are advised to check with their individual schools for details about planned activities during this period.

The state’s student count takes place every year on the third Friday in September. Officials emphasize that attendance on this day directly impacts school funding.

"See you in class!" the statement concluded.

Being present at school daily is highlighted as important for academic success and future opportunities.
