Senator Ron Johnson, who has served as a U.S. Senator from Wisconsin since 2011, recently posted several updates on his official X account regarding disaster relief efforts and public health concerns.

On September 11, 2025, Johnson wrote: "I just had a great call with @POTUS who approved Wisconsin’s request for flood disaster relief. Thank you to President Trump for continuing to deliver BIG TIME for Wisconsinites. Also, thank you to @RepBryanSteil and @RepFitzgerald for helping lead the charge to obtain the". In this post, Johnson credited President Trump as well as Representatives Bryan Steil and Scott Fitzgerald for their roles in securing federal assistance following flooding in Wisconsin.

Later that day, on September 12, 2025, Johnson commented on a tribute event by stating: "A fitting and proper tribute. Truly appreciate them doing so."

On the morning of September 12, Johnson addressed vaccine safety concerns: "VAERS, V-safe, and now Rasmussen again. These safety signals may not prove causation, but they should spark far greater concern. Many Americans believe COVID shots are killing people. When will the medical establishment start listening?"

Senator Johnson has held his seat since first defeating Russ Feingold in the 2010 general election with 51.9% of the vote compared to Feingold's 47%. He was re-elected in both 2016 and 2022—winning against Feingold again in 2016 with a margin of approximately four percentage points and narrowly defeating Mandela Barnes in 2022 by one percent.
