Senator Ron Johnson, a Republican representing Wisconsin, recently posted several statements on his X (formerly Twitter) account regarding congressional oversight and public health studies.
On September 16, 2025, Johnson criticized the Federal Bureau of Investigation's handling of documents requested by Congress. He stated, "It shouldn’t have taken a whistleblower to turn these documents over to the Congress. The @FBI should’ve turned these over to us years ago."
The following day, on September 17, 2025, Johnson shared a resource with his followers related to a recent Senate hearing. He wrote, "Here is a link to the Henry Ford Health System study that I entered into the record at my PSI hearing last Tuesday. You can view it here https://t.co/AzaHxDiKkp"
Later that same day, Johnson expressed agreement with two medical professionals and public figures. He posted, "Couldn’t agree with Dr. Hazan and Dr./Senator Paul more."
Senator Johnson has served in the U.S. Senate since 2011 after defeating Russ Feingold in the 2010 general election with 51.9% of the vote compared to Feingold's 47%. He was re-elected in 2016 against Feingold again and secured another term in 2022 by narrowly defeating Mandela Barnes with 50.4% of the vote.
