Milwaukee Hoops Showdown tickets go on sale to public Wednesday

Tickets for the Milwaukee Hoops Showdown, a men's college basketball doubleheader featuring Wisconsin versus Villanova and Milwaukee versus South Dakota State, will be available to the general public starting Wednesday at 11 a.m. CT. The event is scheduled for December 19 at Fiserv Forum in downtown Milwaukee.

Currently, an exclusive presale is underway for Panther fans and will continue until Tuesday, September 23 at 11:59 p.m. CT. Fans can access the presale by using the promo code PANTHERS25 through a designated link. After the presale period ends, tickets will be available to all buyers.

The Milwaukee Hoops Showdown is a neutral-site event and not included in the Milwaukee Panthers men's basketball season ticket package. Tickets purchased are valid for both games of the doubleheader.

Milwaukee will play South Dakota State at 4 p.m. CT, followed by Wisconsin facing Villanova at 7 p.m. The television broadcast details will be announced later.

This game marks only the third meeting between Wisconsin and Villanova; each team has one win in their previous encounters, with Wisconsin defeating top-seeded Villanova in the NCAA Tournament's second round in 2017.

Milwaukee leads its series against South Dakota State with five wins to one but lost their most recent matchup in 2016 during the Sanford Pentagon Showcase.
