Rep. Barbara Dittrich, a Republican representing Wisconsin's 99th House district, recently used her social media platform to highlight several observances and events in early October 2025.
On October 1, Dittrich posted about Breast Cancer Awareness Month, stating: "October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month — a time to honor survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and support the fight to find a cure. Together we can spread awareness and hope."
Later that same day, she acknowledged the beginning of Yom Kippur with the message: "At sundown this evening, we observe Yom Kippur, a time for reflection, atonement, and renewal. May this day bring peace, growth, and a fresh start for all who observe."
On October 2, Dittrich turned her attention to local industry by recognizing Manufacturing Month in Wisconsin. She wrote: "October is Wisconsin Manufacturing Month! We're proud to celebrate the hard work, dedication, and innovation that manufacturing brings to our district and to our state!"
Dittrich was elected in 2025 as the representative for Wisconsin's 99th House district after succeeding Cindi Duchow.
