WASHINGTON–On Wednesday, Sen. Johnson spoke on the Senate floor, criticizing Senate Democrats for dismissing the serious charges against Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. According to Sen. Johnson, Democrats did so to hide the consequences of their open border policy.

Sen. Johnson presented a chart as evidence during his speech, stating, "This chart, had we had a trial, this would have been the irrefutable DNA evidence to prove the crime." He emphasized the purposeful and willful nature of the crisis at the southern border, attributing it to the actions of President Biden, Secretary Mayorkas, and Democratic colleagues.

The senator condemned the facilitation of criminal activities at the border, saying, "There is nothing humane about facilitating the multibillion-dollar business model of some of the most evil people on the planet." He also questioned Secretary Mayorkas's characterization of the situation, accusing him of lying about the severity of the crisis.
