The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM) has extended its celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, traditionally observed in May, to include much of April due to the academic calendar.

The university's festivities featured a variety of events, including a festival with crafts, food, performances, and vendors held in the Student Union ballroom. These activities were organized by UWM’s Sociocultural Programming, Southeast Asian American Student Center, and the Inclusive Excellence Center.
