Milwaukee Athletics recently announced the hiring of Gabby Loth to the academic services staff as an advisor for the 2024-25 academic year.

While with the Panthers, Loth will work closely with the Milwaukee cross country, swimming & diving, and track & field programs, providing comprehensive academic support services to the student-athletes of those programs.

Loth comes to Milwaukee after spending the past academic year at the University of Wisconsin, where she served as an academic mentor and study table facilitator within the athletic department. While there, she worked with freshmen student-athletes to develop academic plans and strategies while assisting in their transition from high school to college.

Prior to her tenure in Madison, Loth worked as an academic mentor and student-athlete academic services intern at Portland State University in Oregon. She provided individualized study strategies, tools, and resources to create academic success while also working specifically with several members of the football program.

She also has in-classroom experience as a student teacher and as a special education paraprofessional while in Oregon from May 2018 through June 2020.

Loth earned her undergraduate degree from Oregon State University with a degree in Science, Human Development and Family Sciences while minoring in education. She later went on to earn her advanced degree in education from the University of Wisconsin, focusing on Educational Leadership & Policy Analysis with an emphasis on Intercollegiate Sports Administration.
