Milwaukee Public Schools hosts job fair on October 9

Find a meaningful career at the upcoming Milwaukee Public Schools job fair, scheduled for Wednesday, October 9, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at MPS Central Services, located at 5225 W. Vliet St.

The district is currently seeking candidates for several positions including teachers, substitute teachers, paraprofessionals, school nutrition management roles, and children's health assistants (CHAs). CHAs are responsible for supporting students with disabilities by providing personal care and assistance with school-related activities.

Additionally, there are select departmental positions available in facilities and maintenance, finance, and technology. Interested individuals can contact mpscoordinators@milwaukee.k12.wi.us for more information about these opportunities.

Applicants can expect competitive pay along with comprehensive employee benefits. Some roles offer the advantage of having summers off. Both full-time and part-time positions are open. Full-time employees enjoy benefits such as health insurance, paid sick leave, and a pension plan.

Future job fairs are planned for Wednesday, November 13 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and Wednesday, December 11 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
