Milwaukee's women's basketball team faced a challenging game against the Oakland Golden Grizzlies, losing 66-58 on Senior Day. The Panthers were led by senior Kendall Nead, who scored 21 points and achieved a career-high with five three-point shots.

The Panthers' performance was marred by turnovers, as they committed 25 giveaways that resulted in 30 points for Oakland. Additionally, the Golden Grizzlies capitalized on their offensive rebounds, scoring 17 second-chance points.

"We were not disciplined," said head coach Kyle Rechlicz regarding the team's turnovers. "We talked all week about being disciplined and making pass fakes … you can't win games playing like that."

Milwaukee had a narrow two-point lead at halftime after starting strong with a 10-4 run. All five seniors started the game, contributing to this early advantage. Nead and Kalvina Eubanks each scored five points during this period.

"I thought the seniors came out and did a good job from an offensive perspective against their man defense," Rechlicz commented on the team's start. The Panthers shot 52.2 percent in the first half, with Nead scoring 16 of her total points during this time.

Oakland managed to tie the game at 49 by the end of the third quarter, thanks to Brooke Quarles-Daniels' nine points in that period. She finished with a team-high of 19 points, while Alexis Johnson added another 18 for Oakland.

The fourth quarter saw six lead changes before Jorey Buwalda put Milwaukee ahead briefly at 56-55 with five minutes remaining. However, Oakland regained control following an offensive rebound sequence leading to crucial scores.

In the final moments of play, Milwaukee struggled offensively against Oakland's zone defense and only managed two more points from Angie Cera.

"We struggled against their zone defense," Rechlicz noted further challenges faced by his team late in-game play."We couldn't find holes or keep cuts moving … we kept trying to drive against their zone which put us off-balance."

Buwalda along with Kamy Peppler both contributed nine points each; Peppler also grabbed seven rebounds throughout competition time span whereas Anna Lutz added seven additional contributions too! Meanwhile Jada Donaldson made one outta those nine successful three-pointers attempted altogether collectively speaking overall-wise...

Eubanks ended up scoring five overall combined efforts while Grace Crowley reached personal best record-setting milestone accomplishment recording seven assists alongside leading entire squad group rebounding effort tallying total number high count figure standing tall proud standing tall nine times grabbing ball back possession-wise...
