Caleb Henry has been recognized as the Horizon League Outdoor Track & Field Men's Runner of the Week, according to an announcement from the league office. This accolade follows his performances at the Gibson Invitational, where he excelled in both the 400m race and the 4x400m relay.
Henry achieved a personal record in the 400m with a time of 47.51 seconds, placing him fifth on Milwaukee's all-time top ten list and making him the conference leader for this season. Additionally, he contributed to his team's victory in the 4x400m relay alongside teammates Zac Schmidt, Zach Weitgenant, and Jackson Statz with a time of 3:18.70.
Milwaukee's dominance in these events is further highlighted by their continued leadership within the league standings. Henry becomes the fourth Panther athlete to receive weekly honors during this outdoor track & field season, joining Natalie Block (twice), Dominique Thomas, and Anthony Campbell.
The Panthers are set to participate in two more competitions before the conference championships: the Clark Wood Invitational and the Drake Alternative. The Drake Alternative will take place on April 25 in Whitewater, while Louisville will host the Clark Wood Invitational on April 26 and 27.
