The Milwaukee volleyball team is set to conclude its non-conference schedule with a match against Marquette at the Al McGuire Center. The game will take place on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. Following this, the Panthers will host Youngstown State for two matches over the weekend at the Klotsche Center as they enter the second half of Horizon League play.
Fans can watch Tuesday's match against Marquette via Flosports and access live stats for all three matches through MKEPanthers.com. The home games against Youngstown State are scheduled for Friday at 6:00 p.m. and Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
Reflecting on recent performances, Milwaukee split a pair of matches against Wright State last weekend. "Defense was key for the Panthers as Kara Erdmann recorded 77 digs over the two matches," setting a program record with 47 digs in one match. On offense, Madi Malone led with 38 kills and a .317 hitting percentage.
The upcoming opponent, Marquette, holds an overall record of 11-6 and is currently strong in Big East play with a 7-1 mark. Meanwhile, Youngstown State has struggled within their conference but leads in several defensive statistics nationally.
Milwaukee has historically fared well against Youngstown State, holding a significant lead in their all-time meetings. However, they have faced challenges when competing against Marquette.
