The Milwaukee men's swimming and diving team faced a challenging dual meet against UIC on Friday night in Chicago. The Flames secured a victory with a score of 189-111, leaving the Panthers with a record of 0-2 overall and 0-1 in the Horizon League for dual meets this season.

Despite the loss, the Panthers achieved five event wins during the competition. The team concluded the evening with a win in the 200 freestyle relay, finishing at 1:23.54.

Caleb Carlisle delivered an impressive performance, securing first place in both the 100 (49.35) and 200 (1:48.92) butterfly events during his debut meet with the Panthers.

Ben Lorenz claimed victory in the 50 freestyle, completing it in 21.00 seconds. Alvin Valkki also emerged as a winner for Milwaukee by taking first place in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 56.08.

In distance events, Gunnar Seversen achieved second-place finishes in both the 500 (4:37.47) and 1000 (9:39.22) freestyles.

Looking ahead, Milwaukee is set to compete at the IU Indianapolis House of Champions Meet from November 21 to November 23 at IU Natatorium in Indianapolis, Indiana.
