The Milwaukee men's basketball team faced a challenging game against Northern Iowa, ultimately losing at the McLeod Center. The Panthers from Milwaukee struggled to keep up with Northern Iowa's strong performance, as the home team shot over 60 percent from the field.

Milwaukee fell behind early and could not recover despite multiple attempts to close the gap. "Give them credit," said head coach Bart Lundy. "They have a really good team and he is a really good coach. They outplayed us, so give them a ton of credit."

Themus Fulks led Milwaukee with 18 points and tied his career-high with seven rebounds. AJ McKee contributed 16 points, while Jamichael Stillwell added 10 points and nine rebounds. For Northern Iowa, all five starters scored in double figures, with Tytan Anderson leading at 19 points.

Lundy acknowledged the disappointment but remained optimistic about his team's potential for improvement. "We will learn from this and we will move on," he stated.

Milwaukee struggled offensively at the start, hitting only one of their first seven shots and falling behind by significant margins early in the game. Despite efforts to rally back into contention, Northern Iowa consistently responded with key baskets to maintain their lead.

The final score was 87-68 in favor of Northern Iowa. Although Milwaukee won the rebound battle 34-31, they were unable to overcome their shooting woes throughout the game.

Next on Milwaukee's schedule is an away game against Longwood in Virginia on November 13th at 6 p.m.
