The Milwaukee Panthers volleyball team, led by coach Susie Johnson, has announced the addition of five new players for the upcoming fall 2025 season. The recruits include Braylin Bosetski from De Pere, Wisconsin; Julia Kellner from Racine, Wisconsin; Josie Noble from Caledonia, Michigan; Ella Schuetz from Lake Mills, Wisconsin; and Samantha Vanda from Geneva, Illinois.
"This class is a combination of size, physicality, and athleticism and all of them have a competitive edge," said Johnson. "We're excited about what this group can bring to our team … we have a need to compete for playing time right away, so I look forward to seeing where that goes once they get to campus."
Bosetski was a standout at De Pere High School in both volleyball and track. She was recognized as a First Team All-Conference player and Co-Player of the Year in her senior year. She plans to study pre-physical therapy at Milwaukee.
"Braylin comes from a very strong high school program," Johnson noted. "She is very positive and a team-first player."
Kellner excelled in both volleyball and basketball at Racine Lutheran High School. She was named All-County Player of the Year as a senior and has been an AVCA All-State honoree twice. Her major remains undecided.
"One thing that's unique about Julia is she has size, but she can play a lot of positions," added Johnson.
Noble arrives from Caledonia High School in Michigan with accolades including All-State Honorable Mention and multiple All-Region selections. She is interested in pursuing business studies.
"Josie has a great attitude, is very coachable and is very physical as a middle," said Johnson.
Schuetz joins from Lakeside Lutheran High School after setting records in kills and earning multiple honors. She intends to major in health care.
"Ella is very coachable and has a great level of athleticism as well as size," added Johnson.
Vanda comes from Geneva Community High School with significant achievements including over 750 kills during her high school career. She plans to study business at Milwaukee.
"Sam is athletic and has a great deal of quickness," noted Johnson. "She's left-handed, which adds a whole new dynamic to our offense."
