The Milwaukee men's basketball player, Themus Fulks, has been honored as the Under Armour Horizon League Player of the Week. This recognition comes after Fulks' significant contribution to Milwaukee's 4-0 record for the week, culminating in their championship victory at the Cream City Challenge.
Fulks demonstrated exceptional performance by averaging 17.0 points per game and maintaining a shooting accuracy of 59.0 percent from the floor, 50 percent from beyond the arc, and 73.1 percent from the free-throw line. His efforts included a total of 22 assists and eight steals throughout the week.
His achievements began with scoring 15 points against Duquesne on Tuesday, followed by notable performances with 20 points on Friday and 24 points on Saturday. In Saturday's game against Wofford, he made three crucial free throws in the last seconds to secure a win.
In his final game of the week against St. Thomas, Fulks recorded nine points, eight assists, and five steals. He also contributed two decisive free throws in closing moments before securing a game-sealing steal.
This accolade marks Fulks as the first player from Milwaukee to receive a weekly league award this season.
