AJ McKee and Jamichael Stillwell led the Milwaukee men's basketball team to a 64-56 victory over Detroit Mercy at Calihan Hall. McKee scored all of his 14 points in the second half, while Stillwell set a program record with his 10th double-double of the season. "Proud of the guys … this was a tough road win," said head coach Bart Lundy.

The Panthers improved their record to 11-5 overall and 4-1 in the Horizon League, extending their winning streak against Detroit Mercy to six games. Despite shooting just 30 percent from the floor, Milwaukee managed to secure an eight-point win through strong defense and rebounding. "To shoot 30 percent and still win by eight points really shows the toughness and grit of the team," Lundy added.

McKee's performance included back-to-back key baskets that were part of a decisive 13-2 run, giving Milwaukee a commanding lead late in the game. "He missed some easy ones in the first half... it was good to see him have that big second half," Lundy commented on McKee's efforts.

Themus Fulks contributed with 14 points and five rebounds, hitting crucial free throws in the final seconds. Kentrell Pullian also played a significant role, adding 11 points including a pivotal three-pointer towards the end.

For Detroit Mercy, Orlando Lovejoy was notable with a game-high 20 points and ten rebounds. The Titans made several runs but could not overcome Milwaukee's defensive play.

Milwaukee held Detroit Mercy to 37 percent shooting overall while dominating on rebounds with a margin of 49-33. They also capitalized on free throws, making nearly 78 percent from the line.

Milwaukee will conclude its road trip against Purdue Fort Wayne next Wednesday at 6 p.m.
