The Horizon League has announced that the men's basketball game between Milwaukee and Youngstown State, scheduled for Friday, February 21, will be broadcast on ESPNU. The game is set to take place at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT at the Beeghly Center and marks the third regular season ESPN linear broadcast of this season.

In total, eight Horizon League matchups will be featured on ESPN's linear networks this season, with five taking place during the regular season. All league games for the 2024-25 season are "wildcard" selections to ensure optimal matchups.

This is Milwaukee's first ESPN linear selection of the season and their fifth in four years. In their previous encounter with Youngstown State this season, Milwaukee won 79-64 at home on January 17.

Milwaukee currently holds a record of 16-9 overall and 9-5 in league play. They recently secured an overtime victory against IU Indianapolis. The Panthers lead the league in several rebounding categories: rebounds per game (40.7), offensive rebounds per game (14.8), and rebounding margin (10.9). Key players include Themus Fulks, who averages 14.5 points and a league-best 5.4 assists per game; Jamichael Stillwell, who leads with 10.8 rebounds per game and adds 13.3 points per game; along with Kentrell Pullian, Erik Pratt, and AJ McKee who also score in double figures.

Youngstown State holds a record of 16-10 overall and 10-5 in conference action after wins against Oakland and Detroit Mercy last week. The Penguins lead the league in blocks per game with an average of 5.35 blocks. EJ Farmer leads Youngstown State with an average of 15.6 points per game while Nico Galette contributes with an average of 11.8 points and 6.9 rebounds per game.

Continuing its long-standing relationship since broadcasting the Midwestern Collegiate Conference men's basketball championship in 1988, ESPN will televise all games of the Horizon League Men's Basketball Championship from Indianapolis' Corteva Coliseum beginning Monday, March 10 through Tuesday, March 11.
