The Milwaukee men's basketball team secured a decisive 92-70 victory over Northern Kentucky at UWM Panther Arena. The Panthers overcame an early 11-point deficit, closing the first half with a 13-2 run and adding 50 points in the second half. Head coach Bart Lundy acknowledged Northern Kentucky's strong start, stating, "Give Northern Kentucky some credit, they are a good team and they really came ready to play."

The win marked Milwaukee's sixth victory over NKU in their last seven meetings. Coach Lundy praised his team's ability to handle pressure, saying, "The thing I am really proud of is we were able to handle the zone... only turning it over 10 times, we will always have a shot to win the game."

The game coincided with the celebration of the 20-year anniversary of Milwaukee's run to the "Sweet 16" in the NCAA Tournament. Jamichael Stillwell and Erik Pratt led Milwaukee with 15 points each. Stillwell also achieved his 14th double-double of the season with a game-high 13 rebounds.

Milwaukee dominated on rebounds, achieving a significant advantage on offensive boards. They grabbed 21 offensive rebounds out of their total missed shots for an NCAA Division I season-high offensive rebounding percentage.

Erik Pratt contributed significantly off the bench with his performance in just 21 minutes. Danilo Jovanovich scored efficiently while Kentrell Pullian added double figures as well.

Coach Lundy highlighted his team's depth: "You can't say enough about our bench at 49-19... those guys buying into their roles and performing... could be the thing that propels us over the top."

Trey Robinson led Northern Kentucky with a game-high of 21 points and eight rebounds. Despite starting strong, NKU couldn't maintain their lead against Milwaukee's persistent offense.

Milwaukee maintained high shooting percentages across all categories: field goals, three-pointers, and free throws. A halftime ceremony honored members from their historic "Sweet 16" team.

Looking ahead, Milwaukee will visit Youngstown State for their next match on Friday night.
