Nine games at Engelmann Stadium and a challenging match against nationally-ranked Virginia are among the highlights of the Milwaukee men's soccer team's 2025 schedule. Head coach Kris Kelderman announced the full schedule, which begins with an exhibition on August 12 against UIC.
The Panthers will start their season opener on August 21 by hosting Northern Illinois for the "LeWang Cup." This is followed by road games at Lindenwood on August 26 and Bradley on August 28. The team returns home for three consecutive matches, starting with Eastern Illinois on September 5, Chicago State on September 9, and Cleveland State in their Horizon League opener on September 13.
A quick trip to St. Thomas is scheduled for September 16, followed by a visit to IU Indianapolis on September 20. The much-anticipated "Milwaukee Cup" against Marquette takes place at home on September 23. Later that month, they face defending Horizon League champion Oakland away on September 27.
In October, Milwaukee travels to Virginia for a game against the Cavaliers on October 1. Coach Kelderman has ties to Virginia as a former player who helped them win the NCAA National Championship in 1989. He remains notable in school history for his achievements during his time there.
The Panthers then host Purdue Fort Wayne on October 4 before heading to Madison to play Wisconsin on October 7. They host Green Bay for the "Chancellor's Cup" match on October 11.
The final stretch of away games includes visits to Wright State and Robert Morris, ending their road slate before returning home. The regular season concludes with home matches against Northern Kentucky and Detroit Mercy, leading into the Horizon League Tournament starting the following week.
