Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) is inviting families and students to learn about alternative high school options at an upcoming event. The MPS Alternative High Schools Fair will take place on Monday, August 25, 2025, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at James E. Groppi High School, located at 1312 N. 27th St., Milwaukee.

The event aims to provide information about three alternative high schools within the district that offer personalized resources and flexible learning styles for students who may need additional support to graduate. Attendees can explore program offerings, choose a school, enroll on-site, and get assistance in planning their path toward graduation.

The three schools featured are James E. Groppi High School, Project Stay, and Transition High School. Each offers different approaches designed to help students succeed academically and complete their high school education.

For those unable to attend the fair, MPS encourages reaching out directly to the Department of Student Services at (414) 475-8159 for more information about enrollment and available support services.
