Mallory McGuire has been named the Horizon League Under Armour Offensive Player of the Week, according to an announcement from the league office. This marks the first time McGuire has received this weekly honor in her career.

McGuire's recognition comes after her performance in Milwaukee’s 5-0 win over Cleveland State. She recorded a career-high six points by scoring two goals and providing two assists. Her first goal came at the 6:27 mark, which became the game-winner, followed by another goal in the 24th minute. She also assisted on Milwaukee’s third and fourth goals during the match. Additionally, McGuire attempted nine shots, with seven of them on target.

This is the seventh time this season that a member of Milwaukee's women's soccer team has earned a weekly award from the Horizon League. Previous recipients include Lola Wojcik (Offensive Player of the Week for September 29), Kristina Karlof (September 15), Ashlyn Skinner-Barrett (September 8), Zoey Pagels (August 18), and Bella Hollenbach, who has won twice.

"This is a great accomplishment for Mallory and highlights her contributions to our team's success," said a representative from Milwaukee women's soccer.
