70 percent of applicants to Alverno College were admitted for fall 2018

At Alverno College, 71 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 99 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Milwaukee enrolled 1,851 students in fall 2018, including 1,219 in undergraduate and 632 in graduate programs, data shows. 8.8 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

90 percent of undergraduates are residents of Wisconsin, and 10 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (46 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (30 percent).

The school admitted 70 percent of the 728 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 37 percent enrolled.
