Graduates earn 91 degrees, certificates from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Flex

About 53.8 percent of the 91 degrees and certificates handed out by the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Flex in 2017-18 were to students in health professions and related programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Milwaukee conferred 49 bachelor's degrees in health professions and related programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in information science/studies. Data shows the school gave out 38 bachelor's degrees in information science/studies, followed by 36 bachelor's degrees in registered nursing/registered nurse and 13 bachelor's degrees in clinical laboratory science/medical technology/technologist.

The university enrolled 538 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
