Wisconsin Lutheran College issued the following announcement on Nov. 22

Wisconsin Lutheran College will honor Kathie Lee Gifford with the 2022 Divine Servant Award at a celebration on Friday, June 3, beginning at 5:00 p.m. Tickets and table reservations are available now, and the event is open to the public.

Wisconsin Lutheran College established the Divine Servant Award in 2017 as an opportunity to honor an individual who exemplifies qualities of Christian servant leadership and has exhibited Christian values throughout his or her life of service. This event also serves as an awareness and fundraising event for Wisconsin Lutheran College. The inaugural award was presented to the 43rd President of the United States, the Honorable George W. Bush, at a celebration attended by 600 guests. The event raised more than $1.3 million in net revenue in the form of scholarships to help continue the mission and ministry of WLC. Subsequent events have honored Tony Dungy, David Green, and Tim Tebow.

“We seek to amplify our mission of preparing Christian servant leaders who will influence and change our world,” says Dr. Daniel W. Johnson, President of Wisconsin Lutheran College. “We couldn't be more privileged to recognize Kathie Lee Gifford as our featured speaker and recipient of the 2022 Divine Servant Award.”

In addition to her notable accomplishments in television and film, Gifford is a prolific playwright, recording artist, author, and humanitarian.

The community is invited to attend as WLC presents Kathie Lee Gifford with the Divine Servant Award during the celebration on June 3 in the Recreation Complex's Time of Grace Center at Wisconsin Lutheran College. Individual tickets are available for $300 per person, tables of ten for $3,000, or premium-location tables of ten for $8,000. This amazing evening will include a pre-event reception, Kathie Lee Gifford timeline experience, three-course gourmet dinner by Bartolotta Catering, special award presentation, A Conversation with Kathie Lee Gifford, and a delectable afterglow with specialty coffee bar and live entertainment.
