MATC to Host in-Person Open House Dec. 2 at Education Center at Walker’s Square

Milwaukee Area Technical College issued the following announcement on Nov. 24

Milwaukee Area Technical College will host an in-person open house from 3-7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, at its Education Center at Walker’s Square, 816 W. National Ave.

Prospective students and their families will be able to explore programs housed at the center and learn about all MATC programs and campuses. Participants can connect with program representatives, apply for admissions, submit their FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) forms for financial aid and apply for MATC’s Promise programs, which offer free tuition for students who qualify.

Highlights will include tours of the state-of-the-art appliance technician, bricklaying and masonry, plumbing, welding and carpentry shops; as well as visiting GED/HSED and English as a Second Language programs.

Spanish-speaking staff will be available to assist. 

MATC will waive the $30 application fee for anyone applying at the open house. Please bring transcripts if applying on that day.

RSVPs are not required but would be appreciated. Visit matc.edu/openhouse to register.
