On Wednesday, U.S. Senator Ron Johnson sent a letter to top U.S. health officials at the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and National Institutes of Health (NIH), calling for transparency and complete responses regarding the COVID-19 vaccines and other aspects of the pandemic. This marks the senator's 60th public letter to U.S. government agencies on the COVID-19 pandemic.

In the letter, Senator Johnson emphasized the responsibility of these health officials to provide patients and the American public with informed consent. He stated, "You and your colleagues have a duty to provide the American people with complete and transparent data regarding the safety and effectiveness of the COVID-19 'vaccines.' It is completely unacceptable that public health agencies have ignored requests for detailed information about 'vaccine' lots that are associated with higher rates of adverse events and have failed to provide CDC's and FDA's complete data analyses on 'vaccine' adverse events."

Senator Johnson further expressed his concern about the lack of transparency from these health agencies, noting that his numerous oversight requests to various government agencies remain unanswered. He highlighted the importance of providing individuals who received the COVID-19 vaccines with the full truth about any potential adverse health outcomes they may face.

The senator also raised questions about a recently released FDA-funded preprint study that found multiple adverse health outcomes, including seizures, associated with the COVID-19 vaccines among vaccinated children. He stressed the need for federal health agencies to be transparent and responsive to Congress, stating, "The results of this FDA-funded study reaffirm previous concerns about the safety of the COVID-19 'vaccines'—particularly for children—and underscore the need for federal health agencies to be transparent with the American people."

In addition to reiterating the outstanding requests that health agencies have failed to address, Senator Johnson requested new information and materials following the results of the FDA-funded study. He concluded by stating, "It is well past time for U.S public health agencies to be transparent."

This ongoing effort by Senator Johnson to seek transparency and complete responses from U.S. health officials regarding the COVID-19 vaccines and other aspects of the pandemic reflects the importance of providing the American public with accurate and comprehensive information. The senator's commitment to holding government agencies accountable is crucial in ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals who have received the COVID-19 vaccines.
