Campus Safety Week will be held from September 9 to 13, featuring a variety of events aimed at promoting safety and well-being within the community. One notable addition this year is Ezmae, the UWM Police Department’s new comfort dog, who will be available for interaction at Spaights Plaza on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The schedule for Campus Safety Week includes:
- Monday: “Stop the bleed” training from 6 to 7 p.m. in Zelazo 171.
- Tuesday: Citizen Academy signup from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Spaights Plaza.
- Wednesday: UWM at Waukesha Safety Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Thursday: Suicide prevention training from 2:30 to 4 p.m. in NWQ-D 8990; Safe Night Out from 7 to 9 p.m. in Sandburg Hall Commons.
- Friday: Safety training signup from 9 to 11 a.m. in Bolton Hall breezeway and from 1 to 3 p.m. in Library West Wing.
