Adam Goede, a 2003 graduate with a major in Communicative Arts, currently serves as a Supervisor at the WELS Ministry of Christian Giving. Reflecting on his time at Wisconsin Lutheran College (WLC), Goede shares fond memories and insights into his life post-graduation.

When asked why he chose WLC, Goede highlighted the camaraderie among students. "So many good experiences! Choosing one, I’d have to say that time of night when you should be getting some final studying done and heading to bed, but instead the tiredness has everyone goofing around and the laughter flowing," he said.

Since graduating, Goede has achieved several personal milestones. "I married my high school sweetheart, and God blessed us with four kids. I have a job that I love. I am able to use my gifts to serve my church and share Jesus with others," he noted.

Currently, Goede is focused on improving his ability to share his faith. "I want to get better at sharing the hope of the gospel with friends and even strangers," he stated.

In addition to his professional achievements, Goede revealed a lesser-known talent: playing the piano. "I play piano. I took lessons through high school and continue to play hymns and even pop songs for fun for my family," he shared.

Goede's career began as a paperboy for the Waukesha Freeman. Over time, working at WELS headquarters has taught him an important lesson about encouragement. "Working at the WELS headquarters with a lot of pastors and teachers, my coworkers are very good at sharing encouragement. This has taught me the value of encouragement - to not hesitate when I have something complimentary to share," he explained.
