Milwaukee Public Schools will be closed on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, due to extreme cold weather conditions. The closure applies to all schools and Central Services within the district. Additionally, all after-school activities scheduled for Tuesday have been canceled.
The decision was announced through a weather alert which stated: "Due to extreme cold, Milwaukee Public Schools will be closed Tuesday, January 21, 2025. This includes all schools and Central Services. All Tuesday after-school activities are canceled. Thank you, and be safe."
