The Milwaukee swimming and diving team is set to start its season on Saturday, October 19, at the Wisconsin Showcase. The event will be hosted by the Panthers at the Walter Schroeder Aquatic Center in Brown Deer, Wisconsin. Teams from Carthage, MSOE, La Crosse, Oshkosh, Whitewater, and Green Bay will also participate.

The Milwaukee women's team was predicted to finish second in the Horizon League Preseason Poll after securing second place at last year's league championships. Head coach Kyle Clements was named Coach of the Year for the women's side last year. The team ended with an overall record of 8-1 and a conference record of 3-0.

Returning athletes include senior Janelle Schulz, who achieved notable finishes in various freestyle events at the Horizon League Championships. Junior Erika Thomas aims for another strong season following her three top-five finishes last year. Mara Freeman and Skylar Ruggles also return with previous top-five placements in backstroke events.

In this year's Under Armour Women's #HLSD Preseason Poll, Oakland leads with 49 points followed by Milwaukee with 37 points.

Milwaukee's men's team is expected to finish fifth according to Horizon League coaches in their preseason poll. Last season saw them achieving a 6-2 overall record and a fifth-place finish at the league championships.

Fifth-year senior Jay Jensen returns as a key figure for Milwaukee's men’s team alongside seniors Hayden Christiansen and Ben Lorenz. Sophomore Charlie House is anticipated to have a significant impact after setting three freshman records last season.

The Under Armour Men's #HLSD Preseason Poll places Oakland first with 48 points while Milwaukee ranks fifth with 20 points.

The All-Wisconsin Showcase began in 2014 featuring collegiate teams from across Wisconsin. Although team scores are not always announced officially, individual winners are recognized each year. The meet did not take place during two seasons due to COVID-19 but has returned for its third consecutive run since then.

Last year saw several Panther men including Charlie House and Jay Jensen achieve first-place finishes along with others like Jackson Hodek and Nicholas Klenner contributing significantly as well. On the women’s side Nhia Caras among others secured numerous victories helping propel their success further through both individual performances as well as relay races such as those involving medley relays timed notably fast throughout competitions held therein thus far already observed now prior too much else yet occurring anew upcoming shortly soon again once more thereafter onwards continuing
