The Milwaukee men's cross country team secured a seventh-place finish at the Horizon League Championship, amassing 188 points. Leading the Panthers was Bryce Tome, who placed 16th with a time of 24:49.48, marking the fifth-best in program history and setting a new personal record.

"Bryce ran extremely well," stated head coach Andrew Basler. "He really dedicated himself to his craft, coming back as a fifth-year, and has had probably the best season of his career. He just missed all-league honors, and really set an example for the young guys on the roster."

Following Tome were teammates Aidan Sodemann, Lucas Picco, and Carter Eckhoff in 41st, 42nd, and 43rd places respectively. Notably, Picco achieved a personal best with his time of 25:52.34. Cullen Boyle rounded out the scoring for Milwaukee by finishing in 46th place.

"We've made some mistakes throughout the season and didn't run like we'd learned from them yet today," remarked associate head coach Jake Reilly. "Now we have one more chance to learn from them before the regional meet in two weeks."

The team is now focused on preparing for the NCAA Regional meet scheduled for November 10th in Madison, Wisconsin.
