Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) is organizing a job fair aimed at recruiting individuals for various roles within the district. The event will take place on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at MPS Central Services located at 5225 W. Vliet St., Milwaukee, WI.

The school district is looking to fill positions in several departments including finance, teaching, children's health assistance, building operations and maintenance, as well as kitchen and cafeteria services. Attendees will have the opportunity to inquire about the hiring process, learn about pay and benefits, and discover how to become a teacher within the district. Immediate interviews will be conducted for some positions.

MPS is Wisconsin's largest school district with approximately 5,000 teachers and an additional workforce of around 5,000 full- and part-time staff members. The district emphasizes that it offers "great benefits for full-time employees" and provides numerous opportunities for career advancement.

Interested candidates can view open positions and learn more about employee benefits by visiting mpsmke.com/careers. Teacher candidates are required to hold a valid Wisconsin teaching license or be enrolled in a DPI-approved licensure program.
