Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) is inviting families and students to attend its High School Enrollment Fair on Saturday, October 11, 2025. The event will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Milwaukee High School of the Arts, located at 2300 W. Highland Ave., Milwaukee.

The district offers a variety of programs in areas such as arts, automotive, college preparation, technology, engineering, health care, music, skilled trades, manufacturing, and culinary arts. Eighth-grade students are encouraged to explore these options as they prepare for high school.

The enrollment fair aims to help families and students select a school that matches their interests and needs. According to MPS, “Enrolling now offers your best opportunity for a chance at your first-choice school—some schools fill up quickly!”

To assist with decision-making, the district provides resources online for selecting schools by location or program and information about open house events. All applications must be submitted through an online form. Families new to MPS will need to provide the student’s seventh-grade report card, attendance record, and standardized test scores. Students are also required to submit an essay based on a reading selection; current MPS eighth-graders will complete this task in school during the fall.

For additional information or assistance with the enrollment process, families can contact the Department of Student Services at (414) 475-8159.
