Milwaukee School District issued the following announcement on May 26.
Congratulations, MPS graduates! Hundreds of high school seniors have persevered through the pandemic and have earned the right to wear a cap and gown. During the week of June 1–4, Milwaukee Public Schools will celebrate graduates with in-person ceremonies at North Division High School and the UWM Panther Arena. A schedule of ceremonies has been released to schools. Graduates will receive a limited number of tickets and masks will be required. For schedules and more details, visit mpsmke.com/graduation.
We invite the entire Milwaukee community to get creative to help celebrate our graduates! Hang signs in windows, decorate businesses, or post on social media and tag with #MPSClass2021, #MPSProud, or #MPSGrads. Graduates and their families can email us photos at comm@milwaukee.k12.wi.us.
