Milwaukee Recreation is extending an invitation to all families to participate in their Child Care Camps this summer. The camps, known for their exciting themes and engaging games, are located within 25 MPS grade schools and operate Monday through Friday.

The staff at Milwaukee Recreation consistently deliver quality, creative full-day care for young people at an affordable price. The cost of the camp and the age range of attendees vary by site, with some Child Care Camps offering services for individuals as young as K3 and as old as 8th grade. Additionally, breakfast, lunch, and snacks are provided daily.

For more information on the summer 2024 Child Care Camps, including details regarding price, online and on-site registration, resources, and more, individuals can contact the listed site director. However, it should be noted that all sites will be closed on June 19 and July 4.

All locations are licensed by the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families and participate in the YoungStar child care quality rating and improvement system.

In addition to these Child Care Camps, Milwaukee Recreation also offers full-day child care and enrichment at 42 additional MPS sites (Safe Places and Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers) for grades K-12. For more information on these sites for summer 2024, including details regarding price, registration, resources, and more individuals can contact the listed site coordinator.
