Special education will be the central theme of the upcoming MPS Celebrating Abilities event. This annual gathering aims to provide families with valuable information and workshops related to special education services, programs, and opportunities, including planning for life after high school.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Milwaukee Marshall High School located at 4141 N. 64th St., Milwaukee. Community agencies will be present to offer resources and support for families attending the fair.
Attendees can expect access to a variety of community resources and networking opportunities with other families who have children in special education programs. Additionally, breakfast, lunch, and childcare services will be available during the event.

This initiative is a collaborative effort involving MPS, Alianza Latino Aplicando Soluciones, WI Facets, and Wisconsin Statewide Parent Educator Initiative.
