Families eagerly await the inaugural Family Day of Play, a special event offering various activities at Milwaukee Recreation. Scheduled for a summer day, this event promises entertainment for all ages, with over ten engaging activities such as an obstacle course, crafts, and games.
Throughout the day, attendees can savor delicious food available for purchase. Moreover, a raffle will present opportunities for families to win prizes. Live music will contribute to creating a lively atmosphere ideal for family bonding and making lasting memories.
Organizers highlight various activities, including games where family members provide directions to a blindfolded relative to find another member. Other games involve teams racing to achieve three markers in a row in a tic tac toe style, and creative challenges where family members draw an object.
Additionally, attendees can test their agility on stepping stones and race against each other on running mats. A water balloon toss will also assess the family's coordination, while traditional bingo games every 15-20 minutes offer chances to win Milwaukee Recreation prizes.
Excitement continues with fast-paced GaGa Ball, and numerous Milwaukee Recreation carnival games scattered throughout the event. For more leisurely activities, families can design their frisbees and test them in disc golf cages.
An 80-foot inflatable obstacle course adds another level of fun, featuring 11 challenges such as climbing, crawling, and sliding. The event concludes with a splashy bubble finale, encouraging families to bring towels and swimwear.
Registration requires using specific codes for adults and youth. Organizers invite families to partake in a day of laughs, joy, and endless entertainment.
