Representative Barbara Dittrich recently shared updates on legislative activities and commemorative events through her social media platform. Her posts focused on new legislation aimed at healthcare improvements, recognition of veterans, and achievements within the Assembly Committee on Insurance.

On May 14, 2025, Rep. Dittrich highlighted the passage of several legislative measures designed to aid Wisconsinites in managing healthcare expenses and enhancing patient safety. She noted that "AB 8 - ensures Direct Primary Care remains a non-insurance option, saving consumers money with flat-rate payments or subscriptions."

In another post from the same day, Rep. Dittrich acknowledged those who served during the Vietnam War. She stated that "Today and every May 14th, we honor those who put their lives on the line to stand with us in the Vietnam War." This message was shared in conjunction with #hmonglaoveteransday.

Later that day, Rep. Dittrich expressed pride over a unanimous decision by the Assembly Committee on Insurance regarding AB 107. She remarked, "I am very proud that the very first bill out of the Assembly Committee on Insurance, which I chair, passed unanimously this morning." Additional details about AB 107 can be found through a link she provided.

The Assembly Committee on Insurance is tasked with reviewing insurance-related legislation and policies in Wisconsin.
