On May 18, Rep. Dittrich recognized Emergency Medical Services Week by praising EMS responders for their critical role in public safety and health care during emergencies. She conveyed her gratitude with these words: "Today marks the beginning of Emergency Medical Services Week. EMS responders are essential to keeping us safe and healthy when things go wrong, and we are extremely grateful for all they do!"

Emergency Medical Services Week is an annual observance dedicated to recognizing emergency medical professionals who provide vital pre-hospital care in times of crisis.
